In light of Coronavirus we have implemented some new actions and procedures to ensure the safety of everyone that visits & works at our beautiful hotel. Although the world has changed the actions we are taking will not impede on the great experience that you will have with us.

Increased Cleaning

In all areas of the hotel we have implemented enhanced cleaning schedules. You will see the team that are looking after you during your stay carrying these out regularly. These increased schedules are there to protect all visitors to the hotel. We have also increased the amount of daily checks in the public areas and our high frequency touch points are cleaned more often. For additional reassurance we have added extra team members to each shift to ensure that your expectations are exceeded during your visit.

Electrostatic Cleaning

We have teamed up with a leading provider of Electrostatic Cleaning supplies. The system electrostatically charges a powerful anti-COVID-19 chemical, it coats surfaces from a 360 degree angle which is more effective than other cleaning procedures. 

Once our housekeepers have made your room perfect for your arrival the Electrostatic Cleaning process is carried out, your room is then sealed until your arrival to ensure upmost safety.

Washrooms & Sanitising Stations

All of our hand basins have been replaced with Dysons wash & dry systems. This reduces the contact areas in the washrooms to minimise the potential risk to all that use them.

You will also see dotted throughout the hotel sanitising stations, these are based in many different areas of the hotel to encourage people to use them whilst travelling to different areas within the hotel.

Each bedroom is also equipped with a personal sanitising pack for you comfort, convenience and safety.

Enhanced Team Standards

We have invested in the leading hospitality training provider to ensure that the team have the best knowledge of how to protect you from infections. This extensive training has been completed by all team members throughout all departments of the hotel.

Prior to starting their shift each team members temperature is monitored and recorded. Also, as per UK Government guidelines all team members you encounter will be wearing a facemask.

Contactless Check In & Key Card

We have created an app to enable guests to remotely check in. This check in is very similar to the traditional check in but can be done from the comfort of wherever you may be. If technology is not your thing, please do not panic as we still have our friendly reception team on hand to assist checking you in.

We have partnered with a leading provider of hotel room keys to be able to offer contactless entry to your bedroom therefore you will be able to use your mobile phone to gain access to your room.

Increased Technology

We have increased the use of our cutting edge technology. We now offer the ability to order and pay for food, drinks & even activities straight from your own personal device.

Within all bedrooms the smart TV’s can be used to check out, purchase movies or even order room service.

Increased Spacing

We have increased the spacing between tables and chairs in the public areas of the hotel. This change also includes both restaurants & the bar area. This increased spacing & new rules on closing time has meant some changes to the restaurants opening & closing times. We have increased the number of outdoor seating at the hotel. We offer seating in both of our beautiful garden areas as well as in the historic courtyard.

We are sure that you are very aware that the rules, regulations & even laws are changing daily in regards to COVID-19. We will endeavor to keep this relevant and accurate.
